A great boss retires
September 2021
For the previous CEO of kmb Metalltechnik GmbH, Hermann Kempinger, the long-awaited kmb summer party was the ideal opportunity to celebrate farewell to everyday work with the entire workforce. With glorious weather and a great atmosphere, creative gifts were handed out, there were funny and emotional reviews, as well as prospects for a positive and successful future for kmb.
In this way, the entire kmb workforce wishes our “senior” the very best!
Handover of the kmb management
April 2021
The year 2021 is a very special one for kmb Metalltechnik.
34 years ago, Hermann Kempinger founded and built up the company in his own workshop. Today, the family business from Vorchdorf is active worldwide, manufacturing and delivering high-precision engine and transmission parts for well-known customers. In order to continue this success story, a dynamic management team ensures permanent progress at kmb Metalltechnik.
“After 34 years at the top, it is now time to place the management in younger hands,” says company founder Hermann Kempinger, who handed over the management of kmb Metalltechnik to his youngest son Gerhard Kempinger in March 2021. He now assumes overall responsibility in the company and leads the family business into the next generation.
Sustainable investments at kmb to improve our ecological balance.
März 2021
We produce sustainable energy with solar power. Our new 100 kWp photovoltaic system generates approx. 109,900 kWh of electrical energy per year and thus saves 66 tons of CO2 emissions. In 2021 we will expand the system to 200 kWp. In addition, all production halls were converted to LED lighting. With these investments, we not only promote health and safety in kmb, we also save around 8,000 euros in costs for lighting energy.

Jänner 2021
